Hi guys.
i thrashed the living shit out of my hand on wednesday and now it has no skin and the dressings are sticking to the seeping/gnarled places. its pretty gross and it really hurts. I cant lift things properly with that hand... and then yesterday I sliced the palm of my other hand open so it hurts to touch things and pick things up and it looks like a talking vagina when i open and close my fist. needless to say, I probably should take it easy for a bit. my work doesnt really help.

seattle kicked my ass. there was so much cheese on any kind of remotely vegetarian/appetising thing. I got a sandwhich that was more cheese then anything else, and anything that doesnt have cheese in it was deep fried. Needless to say I've been having problems shitting, but it's finally loosening up. BUT THE BEER. OH MY GOD, there was SO MUCH beer in a single can for SO CHEAP in the fucking GAS STATION. this boggles my mind! three dollars for a 20oz can of pabst. Yeah it supposedly has less alcohol content then canadian beer, but THREE DOLLARS! Adam managed to get fucking slaughteringly waisted the last night we were there, and we did the math.. it cost no more then five dollars to get him that drunk, and he was.... fucking waisted. it was actually kinda funny.
Eirn, bil and I bonded about cuttle fish skin, and what they look like when they walk dumpily along the bottom of the ocean. I talked to robin from Teflon Hertz about a show at the SS Marie Antoinette when we go back in july.
I took some decent pictures. Im rather pleased with the two I took of lightning bolt. So I will put them here now.


I dont think Ive ever seen a drummer that awesome since gene hogland, but hes old and doesnt play thrash, so fuck him.

That trip was pretty much the most fun Ive had in my entire life, I cant wait to go back and do it all again and
shameful self promotion..

I almost forgot about this thing.
My fucking face feels like its going to fall off. I really wish that the whole tying your aching tooth to a string and tying the other end of the string to a doorknob actually worked... well, it might, but it wont for me because these bitches are just barely cutting through the gum, big ass, crooked, wisdom teeth. Two at the same time, double the pleasure.

I remember why I stopped writing in livejournal. the whole inner monologue thing turned exterior and impersonal. I like myself better then i like this machine, and I have friends I would rather talk to about pretty much everthing and anything then sit and bitch to a whole bunch of people I barely know about my seemingly petty problems, which arent so petty once you realise what they're actually about.

Im going to seattle for the first time ever on friday. I get to wander around and look for vegetarian resteraunts with some cool people and smoke american cigarettes and probably go record/clothes shopping because I need those two items pretty badly right now, mostly the ladder. Im pretty much just excited to get the fuck out of vancouver for a day or two, even though it is practically the same place, but across some made-up line that segrigates groups of people who think they are different from eachother.
Im also really excited for the whole tour/camping/road trip. Hanging out in a van with bil, mj, chris, tristan and some guy who ive only met once, driving all the way down the west coast, camping and playing shows in places along the way. We're going to some pretty rad city/areas, like portland and san diego and LA etc. I get to see the fucking Salton Sea for my 20th birthday, which really excites me to no end. Its pretty much one of the only places I ever wanted to travle to since that one summer... and for many other reasons, but holy fuck Im seriously excited.

We also got a new house-cat. (for all the people in the house, it wont be kept in the house all the time because that shits just cruel.) It looks pretty much just like dumpy, but a bit skinnier, and smaller, and not as loud. It does have the personality of the x-model cats that i've been acquainted with in the past, so I guess its like.. dump2. or something.

Nothing much else is happening. fake jazz is still rad, but its gotten pretty sewing circle-esque and pretty much everyone doesn't know how to shut the fuck up when someone else is playing music. thankless is still up and running, we're putting out a tape in a cloth jellyfish for N213 and Nu Sensae and just finished making 40 robots for hotloins so they could have something awesome for their last show ever. I want to change my name to Burrow Owl. Ive been busy as shit with bands and art. its nice.

They're paying me less then what Im making at jester's but I I get more tips because its front of the house and not shitty back of the house shitstorm with stupid asshole fuckfaces who suck. can do the two jobs thing until I start living in a van down by the river in the summer time. AND the awesome part is that its all vegetarian shit and I get to eat whatever I want.
